MF Induction Heating
saves
its customers a great deal of money in many and varied ways:-
Power savings are made when the
platen reaches its operating temperature. Platens dissipate approximately 25% less current
when hot because the resistivity of both the copper coils and the platen increase with
heat thus lowering the current drawn.
Down time is greatly reduced
because of the reliability of the system, coils operate at only a few degrees higher
temperature than the platen itself thus ensuring a very long life for the coils
Scrap caused through uneven
temperatures is very greatly reduced due to a very good temperature profile throughout the
tool or platen.
Increased speed of moulding due
to quick recovery time.
